OmniCure S2000 Elite Optical Bandpass Filters
Seven user-interchangeable filter cartridges for the S2000 Elite and S1500 Pro. The 200 W lamp emits a continuous 250–600 nm spectrum; the cartridge selects the band the photoinitiator actually needs and discards the rest — the UVC that damages a substrate, the infrared that heats it, the visible light that does nothing for the cure.

320–390 nm — the standard adhesive filter: depth cure of clear acrylates, least heat and substrate damage
320–500 nm — UVA plus violet, for pigmented, filled or thick sections and cationic epoxies
365 nm — narrow UVA, to match a formulation specified at 365 nm or compare against a 365 nm LED
400–500 nm — visible-light photoinitiators, dental-type and biocompatible formulations, light-sensitive substrates
Blank — passes the lamp's full output, used with the Surface Cure lamp
Custom — a band specified on order when none of the standard six fits
Changed by the operator without tools; the system logs which cartridge is fitted
